Mild Buffalo Wing Sauce
Timeless, classic, American Buffalo Wing sauce made at home in just minutes! You will be amazed how easy this is to make and how delicious it is. Don’t be fooled by the buffalo wing sauces in your local grovery store. Most are just full of salt, little flavor, and in my opion, ruin a good batch of chicken wings.
The main ingredinent for a simple, basic Buffalo sauce are:
- Franks Redhot (Or your favorite hot sauce)
- Butter ( Helps soften the heat of the hot sauce and gives it body)
- Black pepper
- Onion or Garlic powder, your choice. Or, use both!
My favorite part about making chicken wing and Buffalo sauces, experiment! The key is to taste as you go along and make sure it’s the right amount of heat and flavor for you and your wing guests. Below is what I would consider a mild to medium sauce. If you feel its a bit too spicy for your likely, simply add more butter, or cut back on the hot sauce.
If you are like me and like things extra spicy, dump in a little Tabasco sauce for an extra kick. Personally, I use franks red hot and Tabasco so often, I order the big boys. There’s just something about having a gallon of hot sauce that brings a huge smile to my face. Click on the images below to check pricing. Update* Franks Redhot Seasoning also works great. Its a game changer to have at home to add on fries, mac and cheese, you name it. Enjoy those wings!
